I don’t really have a clever title for today, so we’ll keep it simple and dive right in.

Breakfast:

Protein hot chocolate+leftover cheddar biscuit.

Today was a bit of a mess in terms of online learning…our wifi all around town was gone, and my cell signal at home is too weak for a hotspot…I drove and sat in my car in a place with better signal for morning rounds via zoom. When I went to the SAME location in the afternoon, I couldn’t get a strong enough signal for a hotspot and had to call in to my zoom rounds. And I was wifi-less for nearly 12 hours, which in quarantine is rough! So that’s a little bit of my real life for the day.

Lunch:

Salad with hummus, goat cheese, and an egg, plus some GF crackers on the side.

I also had some homemade chocolate from my sister, and a spoon of ice cream that my friends sent me yesterday. Shout out to Jessica!

Snack:

White cheddar rice cake with Trader Joe’s Kale Greek yogurt dip.

Workout:

I did my CF programmed workout, plus some extra Olympic lifting work. I did a 10 minute EMOM of 2 hang power snatches, working up to 80#.

The WOD was 5 rounds of 3 minutes on and 1 minute off:

4 hang power cleans (105#)

7 hand release push ups

10 lunge steps

Dinner:

Mexican-ish salad, a day early for Cinco de Mayo! This has lettuce and carrots as the base, corn sautéed with Elote seasoning, baked chicken, avocado, and Bolthouse Salsa Verde dressing. YUM

Dessert:

More ice cream cake! Look at that cross section. Beautiful.
